
Women's Studies Program:
Teach undergraduate courses and participate in service activities
reinterpreting traditional views of women’s nature and role, training
individuals for careers with a special focus on women, and encouraging
research dealing with the experience of women. Course work covers basic
survey of concepts and theories related to the study of women and to
the analysis of gender roles, specializing in exploration of key
gender(ed) issues and topics.
School of Art:
Teach undergraduate majors and minors in courses such as Introduction
to digital photography and Advanced photography with emphasis in
documentary photography. Lead students through skill and knowledge
building using creative
photographic imaging software(s), film & darkroom printing
techniques, and journaling.
Provide visiting artist’s presentations, media literacies, and
fieldwork to challenge critical thinking skills, techniques and forms.

Performs supervisory and
coordinative work in the
operation of a
specific program or departmental projects. Responsibilities involve the
coordination and supervision of various functions and aspects of a
specific programs as well as the monitoring of program staff and
operational procedures. Advise graduate and undergraduate students.
Recruit students to the
Program and reach out to faculty, students and the community. Actively
support
Program teaching mission examining the cultural and social construction
of gender, exploring the history, experiences and contributions of
women to society, and studies the influences of gender on the lives of
women and men.
