Within
my artwork I envision the process of “telling the story”. I
interpret images as not just documents but also captured
experiences. Manipulating the subject and/or the subject’s
environment to create an awkwardness or tension. Using the tools
of photography, appropriated imagery, newspaper articles, layering,
cropping, and perspective I piece together a distorted reality.
